I am rebuilding a 94 camaro when the motor say's on it 3.4 but when i tore it down the crank is stamped 3.1 so what is it? From what i understand not to much all parts i bought for the motor are for a 3.4. Is there a power difference by having 3.4 heads and a 3.1 crank???? Like a 383 stroker? I'm alittle confussed i bought the car off of a used car place and the guy said he just got the car don't know much about it any help would be appreciated

 

The 3.4 is a bored out versio of the 3.1 and the crank should be the same
3.1 bore & stroke: 3.5" x 3.31"
3.4 bore & stroke: 3.6" x 3.31"
