2.8 bolt pattern question?

2.8 bolt pattern question?
Is the 88 2.8 v6 the same bolt pattern as the chevy small block? My v6 is a 5 spd and a friends got a 700r for real cheap and I wanted to know if it will bolt up to the block? Thanks

yeh your right, I'll crawled underneath and took a look and it look alot different from the ole s/b style. Do you know what A/Trans will fit? TH200 maybe? Id don't think mine is electronic valve body. Thanks
