Default 1st Gen sbc 350 into '93 V6 Camaro?

I have a old sbc engine. These engines were in the 69-79 Camaro, Corvette, Nova, ect.. I was talking to my father and he states that he can put this motor into any chevy out there. I don't fully believe that. My nieghbor has a 93 3.4L V6 Camaro that the powerhouse is dead in. Dad states that I would have to change the shocks and springs and such so it will even be able to hold this motor. Would this 350 work in the camaro without major changes? P.S. this motor has no electronic parts, it is all vaccume hoses and such. The engine block cast # is 4 GM 3970010.

idk if the shocks are different from a v6 to a v8 camaro. gotta remember that some camaros that style came with 350's in them. I would be more worried about the motor and trans mounts because those would have to be custom made. gotta get a custom drive shaft too.

Huge project. H U G E!
Upgrading the suspension is the *least* of the problems you'd have.
Can it be done? Sure. Should you do it? No.
Totally not worth the aggravation.

Check out the sticky V-6 to V-8 swap. There is a link in there to a thread from a guy who did the swap. Very little bolts up and very few of the parts that are needed exist, they need made, so unless you have a machine shop and a ton of time or a big pile of money just keep looking. V6 3rd gen (82-92) Camaros are cheap and all the parts that are are cheap for a V6 to V8 convertion.
