Has anyone replaced the thermostat, and if you had how did you get the bolts out?

 

Use a 6 point socket, if the bolts are frozen and break, you will be SOL, as now you will have to drill them out.

 

I am able to locate the two bolts that hold the theromostat housing to the intake. Where I am unsure is that one of the bolts is under the air flow meter/intake manifold and I'm not sure how to get to that bolt. There is quite a bit of stuff in the way and I want to be sure before I go messing with it.

 

Been there, changed that it's easy, use a universal joint and if the tools you have don't fit well, buy ones that do... Pick up a Chilton or Haynes manual for your car as well.
