Or is this test bulb an inserted light - unplug the alt, plug in the test light to alt harness plug and plug test bulb into alt receptacle?

Here is a pic of my test harness, I unplug the Regulator & plug my harness in & jump it to the hot post on the back of the Alternator.

Thanks again...

Glad you got it fixed!

Technically you have the wrong Voltage Regulator, A '94 Camaro Alternator should charge with just the L terminal hooked up.

It is not professional or correct for them to tell you to modify your Stock harness for an Alternator to charge, Just my opinion on the matter.

I agree with you.I bought this from a alternator starter rebuild shop in Los Angeles(,CP alt and starters)for 41.00 figured since I was down in L A anyways. It has a one year waranty.I guess I should have went to Autozone and bought one,but they wanted 130.0 for the same delco remey brand alt.
Im just glad its working..Thanks again for all the help and info..

One from Autozone could be wrong too!!! They try to consolidate too many part numbers into one part number. AC-Delco probably has 10 different Alternator P/N's to their 1, That is how this crap happens in the first place.
