gona have to get under there and see if its got holes drilled on the side towards the front of the car. if not you have a internal balance flywheel. far as I know there is only two for the lt1 one is internal other is external.

 

so unfortunately I wont have time to get under there before I head out on a work trip. I will be gone for 3 months and will tackle this when I get back. I think i'm going to just order the type that came off of the car in the first place. I am pretty sure this is the problem and will let you guys know what I find once I get back. thank you for all the help and pointers.
