tubo 350 or 4l60e which would you run ??

Default tubo 350 or 4l60e which would you run ??

just thinking about all the trany probs i been havein gwhat should i do turbo 350 or 4l60e just rebuilt my 4l60e if it doesnt hold up to my heavy foot would a turbo 350 hold up i use the car for drag racing and i drive to work when the weathers ok f bodys and rain, snow and ice dont work too good so basicly what should i do?????????

The 4L60 has a stronger first gear ratio and is easy to tune since you can use the PCM to adjust ship points and firmness. Your also going to get 2-4 mpg more with the 4L60 as well. Of course the trade off is going to be the cost. I have about 2300 in my 4L60 from RPM transmissions and love it.

id go overdrive for MPGs and if you go OD you can get taller gears for the first couple gears

If you use the car mainly for racing, TH350 or TH400. Both very popular 3 gear transmissions for drag racing. It would still be very drivable but would run high rpm's on highway resulting in poor mpg.
