Shifter shaft thread size?(new shifter ****)

i wanna buy an 8 ball shifter **** but dont know what size for the threads, does anyone know the gear shift shaft thread size on a 1997 camaro 3.8?????

oh snap have the same problem. i cant find the right Jam nut for my new shifter **** so it just twirls around, its annoying.
