quick trans question

Right, to control the PWM t.c.c. solenoid in the valve body. That's what the TransGo kit that he's going to install will take care of.

speaking of the transgo kit... got this in the mail yesterday

i was very surprised it was here summit said "please allow 3-4 weeks for shipping" it was 2 days i ordered it on the 10th in the morning and it was at the door on the 12th at about noon

believe me if i had the money to rebuild that trans id do it (which is why i still have it) but coming up with 1600$ isnt happening (plus i lost my job a couple days ago) im really rushing to get this car done so i can get another job ASAP

also if money wasnt the issue id take that 1600 and get a t56
its not the original motor either

dont know about all that but i was reading the directions and it doesnt look to bad the trans doesnt even need to come out

Here's wishing you all the good luck with this project. You've had a lot of trouble with trans in that car. I have my fingers crossed that you will get it all sorted out now.

thanx gpa i did drove the ta that the trans is coming out of and it seamed really nice and smooth shifted great and when i got on it there was no slip or anything

Good luck and lemme kno how u mke out. I've certainly been there, although that was when I wad a teenager, lol. Sucks losing work. I hope you can get het running so u can get back to getting PAID! Good luck.

so the trans i had lined up was not the right one at all i have no idea how the guy had it bolted to the lt1... but i found a new junkyard and they have SOOOOOOOOO MANY LT1s... lol i was in sbc heaven anyways i got a trans out of a 95 caprice with 138k and after getting her home and cleaning off all the oil and crud i found a remanufactured by gm sticker... hmmm just wish i knew when

GM was putting reman trannys in the Caprice when new.

Is there a serial number or any other i.d info on the sticker?
