Disc rear question

Does the disc rear use the same ebrake cables as the drum rear? I'm gonna do an axle swap in the near future and just would like to know before hand if i need to change the cables or not.

i believe it is different but am not sure on all years, it would be best if you could grab the cables with the differential.
