I have a 98 V6 auto and the code p1870 comes up. after the transmission get hot it shifts hard from 1st to 2nd. i read that it is the vakve body and the TCC. is it better to replace that and if so how hard would it be or how much to do that or should i just go for a rebuild or new tranny?
