Hi I have a question today I inadvertently put my car into park from drive while i was doing a u-turn in my neighborhood and my foot wasnt down on the brake all the way. It was because my passenger door flung open and it was just reaction i didnt really have tie to think abut it . well when i did this i put it back into drive and i could feel right away something wasnt right in the shifter . someone in the neiborhood took a look under the car and i guess manually put it into drive for me so i could get it back to the house but it was actually one off . so now when its in reverse on the shifter its actually in park . or vice versa im not really sure im am a female and i dont know too much about trannys etc. any input on how to fix this would be great because the gear shifter isnt right .
