Hey guys I'm new to this site and I need some help.. my 97 z28 6 speed had a new pressure plate, clutch fork , tob, pilot bearing, slave and clutch installed 2 weeks ago and I was driving her last night and went from 2nd to 3rd and it wouldnt go into 3rd or any gear now it grinds with the clutch mashed in rollin down the road it still pulls when I rev it up and the pedal feels easier now and it vibrates a lil do u think some how it got air in the system? The fluid reservoir has about a inch of fluid in it... Car done fine until this happened thanks a lot someone please help I'm puzzled with this and eager to fix it

 

the stock clutch master is notoriously a piece of crap. i would look there

 

Thanks for the reply, I put a new master on it ( which was a nightmare) and bled the whole system and no air is in it I even mity vac it. I have a clutch pedal now but it won't go in any gear the only way it will go in gear is with the car off and I have to crank it in gear and with the clutch pressed it will still move.. man I'm stumped on this, do u think I have tranny issues?? And my pedal vibrates a lil now when I rest my foot on it, never done it until I lost my pedal the other day is that normal

 

Problem solved the clutch shattered in 3 places lol

Yea the guy that put it in didn't line it up when he put it in and mashed the clutches to the pressure plate he was a idiot lol so I got a pro to do it right !!!
