my 94 needs a tranny...does anyone know what 4l60e's will fit as in 2 wheel drive trucks of certain years or are they all the same? are there more than 2 output shaft lengths, i know there is a short and long for the 2 wheel drive and 4 wheel drive trucks...

any help is greatly appreciated

 

did they make a 30th anniversary in a v6 flavor and they put 5 speeds behind V8's in 96?

i found a 5 speed in a 96, could i swap enough and make it work? obviously if its a v6 then its a no go...

T5 would not last long behind a LT1, GM would not even put it behind the L98 350 in 87. It could not handle the torque. Give a junk yard a call about the tranny they should have a cross reference for direct bolt in tranny replacment.
