Default 2000 camaro 3.8L, want to change from auto to 5 speed, need help

I'm new to this forum so idk if im in the right place to ask this question but ive got a 2000 camaro with the 3.8L that has an automatic tranny. I want to put a 5 speed in it but I don't know what all has to be changed as far as electronics being compatible and such.

Can anybody help me out?

In the short time I have been ont his forum, I myself have seen this asked a lot. The short answer is: it ain't worth it. The amount you would spend on parts alone, would rival the cost of another Camaro (which is essentially what you need any way). Truth be told, either stick with what you have and maybe add a manual valve body for a bit of gear control, or sell it and get another sixer with a 5 speed.
