shocks
Hey guys i have a 94 camaro v6 the drivers side lower mount for my rear shock is GONE can i replace the bracket (is it bolt on ) or does it have to be cut n welded?
welded, may be a good excuse to pick up a disk brake rearend. so how the heck did that get gone?
might be a stupid question but are the mounts welded to the rear
this is my first time with suspension |

are you talking about the bolt or the mount, mount is welded to the rearend and shock bolts to it.

okay last question where are the jack points on the car?
:icon_worthy: |
there are plastic pads just behind the front wheels for front. center of differential or on the axle for rear, there is also spots on the subframe that can be used.
yeah the mount looks rotted so it will have to be replaced any idea on how to make the plate or hopefully where i can order it?
got pic? i cant find anything on shock mounts. may have to weld repair
Those plastic pads are not Jack points, even says do not Jack here.the frame rail right behind it is though, also the k member,http://www.installuniversity.com/ins...ift_points.htm
on the side of the plastic block it says, don't jack here. that means the metal rocker in front of the block. if you place lift pads or a jack on the metal you will bend the metal flange that the fender bolts to and the bottom of the fender pops out. if you use the plastic block you will not damage anything
