Rear Sway bar bushing squeaking
I have a squeak in the rubber bushings on the rear sway bar. I tried lubricating with various silicone's and grease and every time the squeak stopped but came back. Also replaced with new GM rubber bushings and squeak came back and then sprayed the new bushings with silicone and after a few days or miles the squeak always came back.
Is there a better material to replace the bushings with or a better lubricant to use?
I have heard about polyurethane bushings being used, will this stop the squeaking?
(2002 Camaro SS, 20,000. miles)
Thanks in advance.

Thanks. I have found Stranoparts.com has the rear sway bar mounts, 7/8 in. (22MM) for $129.99. I will see if this is the best price, but I think I will replace them with the Poly.
Energy suspension should have just the bushings. Be sure to either grease the bushing with what they give or a HEAVY EP WATERPROOF grease. Otherwise, there's a good chance they will squeak. I used Mobil 1 synthetic wheel bearing grease and never had an issue with any of my poly bushings. Green Grease is also an excellent grease. I use that on the Jeep since it sees off road and never had any issues. It likes to stay in place.

Old mechanics trick, cut a piece of anti-freeze jug into a strip the width of the sway bar bushing, wrap the bar and slide it in between the bar and the bushing. Noise is gone should last for years. Although the next time I have this issue I am trying what MK suggested
Thanks for the ideas. When I have greased the current bushings it only last about 30 to 50 miles.
If I replace bushings with grease fitting about how long will it last before needing greasing?
