c5 rims

Default c5 rims

I bought a set of 2000 c5 rims they are factory rims. Im putting them on a 2000 3.8l camaro I also bought 1.35 inch lowering springs front and rear with 1 inch wheel adapters also front and rear does anyone see any fitting issues rubbing issues etc... forgot to add I will be wrapping the rims with 275/40zr18 in the rear and 245/45/zr17 in front I beleive ths is the stock tire size for the corvette

nope, they should fit just fine, there are tons of threads out there with picture posts of people putting these wheels on your car

Right I understand the rims would fit my main concern was if the 1.35 inch drop would be to low

Are they Z06 rims? If they are you might have a rubbing issue in the rear. Z06 rims have an unfriendly offset for fbodies, and when combined with an 18 inch rim they can cause issues with a 275 or wider tire.

No they are not the z06 they are the thin 5 spoke wheels

Kool should be putting them on this weekend waiting on wheel spacers and springs to get here in the mail

Haha I knew they where called y2k rims that's how they where labeled when I bought them I just didn't think that was the official name but I know now lol Y2K Y2K Y2K Y2K Y2K Y2K LOL

I run the same wheels with only 1/4" spacer on the rear. It only rubs if I corner really fast and hard but it could probably be fixed with the BFH mod
