Default Bumpy Ride

My SS and Z feel really rough/bumpy, but i noticed the vette on my lot rides smooth and floaty.
Someone told me this is due to an Independant Rear Susp on the vette. apart from making major mods like that, what can i do to get a corvette like ride or at least smooth things out a little......
Will i have to sacrafice performance for comfort ???

Yes, you will in most cases. The solid axel in the F-body makes for a little harsher ride, you could change out the shocks and springs but going to a softer suspension will be tough because nobody really does this, thus parts will be hard to find. One option is to try different tires that less performance orientated.
