Mine is lowered about 2",drives fine but the ride is a little stiff and I have to be careful on speed bumps and sharp incline type driveways etc.
I bought it that way so I can't really compare the before and after for you.

I got the BMR lowering springs on mine and it was totally worth it. The car handles better, a little more stiff ride, but not that much. On the highway, it's smooth. I would do it when you can add some good shocks/struts. I got the KYB 8 way adjustables all around and it just handles so much better and I can feel more of what the car is doing, the seat of your pants feedback from the car.

yes, driveways can sometimes suck. i drop my gf off at the bottom of her driveway because there is no way I can pull all the way up without nailing my exhaust lol

just put eibach pro kit on, quoted as 1.2" drop but more like 1.5"+, car feels a lot better, with less body roll, so rather pleased

ummm...you go much lower and you won't be able to drive it big guy. if you want it to sit low you better look at air ride
