Mine is lowered about 2",drives fine but the ride is a little stiff and I have to be careful on speed bumps and sharp incline type driveways etc.
I bought it that way so I can't really compare the before and after for you. Attachment 40477 |
I got the BMR lowering springs on mine and it was totally worth it. The car handles better, a little more stiff ride, but not that much. On the highway, it's smooth. I would do it when you can add some good shocks/struts. I got the KYB 8 way adjustables all around and it just handles so much better and I can feel more of what the car is doing, the seat of your pants feedback from the car.

yes, driveways can sometimes suck. i drop my gf off at the bottom of her driveway because there is no way I can pull all the way up without nailing my exhaust lol
|
i lowered mine about 2 inches as well and also put the kyb adjustables on it. ride is stiffer but i LOVE the way it looks!

just put eibach pro kit on, quoted as 1.2" drop but more like 1.5"+, car feels a lot better, with less body roll, so rather pleased
|
ok i dont mean to thread jack but dont want to start a whole new thread. anyways for the guys that are saying they dropped it 2" what kit is that and is there anything that goes lower...pics a plus. i want to go reall low
|
ummm...you go much lower and you won't be able to drive it big guy. if you want it to sit low you better look at air ride
