Started installing the rockers last night and discovered the pushrods are too short.

At least push rods are a minor thing.

I have a deadline of June 17th, so anything going wrong at this point is a major problem. Turns out they made me the wrong torque convertor now. So I have a $1200 useless part. So the trans was pulled to get the engine in. I'm hoping they will make a new one and expedite it here.

if they made the wrong one why for that kinda money would they not stand by there part after all you said there mistake sending you the wrong one ,why would you suck up that much, then buy another one from the same place or not ,sounds confuseing ,not many of us can lose that much on a build for one part??? the engine looks great though

I don't understand this what-so-ever.

I'm not buying another one. They're sending a return label to ship the wrong one back and making a new one. It'll be done in 1-2 days and hopefully be here by the end of the week. Apparently the part number was off by a number.

I read it the same way he did. When you said "So I have a $1200 useless part", made it sound like you had to keep it. You don't "have" a useless part if it gets sent back.
