Haha, yes! Thanks! I never considered it (I had heard before that it took a long time to do and was expensive) but when I found the neon pink...I had to have it.

Case called Pharro yesterday, they've been looking over the block and everything else. So far, it's been good news. Anything that was questionable to us seems like it can be machined/polished. They'll know more tomorrow (hopefully). We're suppose to get the bottom end back first so then they can work on the heads and stuff. So while they're doing that, I'm gonna paint the block and then assemble everything.

i did a bit of port polishing and gasket matching while i had the intakes. it really wasnt as hard as i had expected it to be, just rather messy. the pictures arent great, but you can see the extra flashing and irregularities from the factory, and i was able to remove much of it. i dont think there will be much in the way of power gains, but im sure it wont hurt it. picture 6 shows a large ridge that was in every port in the upper intake, and cylinder 4 was the biggest, protruding about 2mm into the port. the following picture shows that ridge removed

Yeah not much is going on, it's a waiting game right now. I'm suppose to get the bottom end back today from Pharro, but who knows. I've just been working on cleaning the engine bay. I also got my strut tower brace yesterday. Seems to fit pretty good. Won't know until everything is back in the bay.
