Well, the car show was tonight. We didn't win. I was the ONLY 4th gen fbody there. No birds, no other maros, nothing. There were only 2 or 3 other 2nd and 3rd gen fbodies there out of 400 registered cars. That's kind of the problem with an open car show I guess. But we lost against v8 riced out Mustangs. Go figure. Only true fbody owners would be able to recognize how much of Sof is NOT stock. Like the interior. I think at a GM only show it would be more noticeable and appreciated of all the work that was put into her and how difficult it is to make things work for a 6 because it's just not a popular car to mod. But I didn't expect to win anything, it was just to get my feet wet, so to speak, for car shows. And since it was held at my school, I had to make an appearance. She caught some attention and got some pictures taken of her, but that was about it. Ricers can't recognize a nice car. Haha.

well, there were only a few high schoolers. most people there were in theirs 20's and 30's, and even older. but there were a lot of people who would walk past and glance at her, then stop and take a second look. she really drew a lot of attention from both guys and girls. thankfully, everyone immediatly assumed it was her car and that i was just there with her. i think the pink had a major role in that, although there was a pink mini truck there owned by a guy. but for the interior, most people just looked at it quick and kept going, assuming that it was stock. i think she would be much better off at a place where someone would recognize that the car is really a base model and didnt come with a black interior and leather seats.
