Got all the rings filed tonight, only thing left to do now is measure bearing clearances, final wash, and start assembly!
Rings were gapped as follows:
Top Ring: .022"
2nd Ring: .020"

The heads and intake were sent out today to LLoyd Elliot.

LE2 heads, Ported intake, and LE Cam 242/248 .584/.579 110 LSA

Just got the head gaskets, Felpro 1074.

thats the cam im lookin at for my 383 build. cometic makes a great headgasket. cant wait to hear this beast.

Well i'm building my engine at my college here in Michigan, but the car is back home in Wisconsin. Hope to have it running in the car in May when i go home for the summer. Quite a haul from Washington lol

After talking to Lloyd again, we have changes the cam to a 242/248 .585/.580 110 LSA

Final Main Bearing clearance measured as follows:

J1: .0025
J2: .002
J3: .002
J4: .0022
J5: .0025

I had to order .001 oversize to loosen up the rear 2 as they were a little tight.
