Default my 95 z28 lt1 project

where to start. its been a project of mine since February 18. she does need alot of work including drivetrain,engine, body and sub structural since shes been driven during the winter months here in iowa. i do plan on keep the lt1 in it.

Good luck with your new project. I also have a 95z getting ready to put the LT1 back in it its now a 383 and I cant wait to hear it fire up. I would suggest you do a lot of research on removing the drive train. The best way to pull the engine is from the bottom. There are a lot of video on you tube about. have fun and when your done drive it like you stole it

pick up a factory service manual or download one in the manual section, bottom of the home page. i use paper, reading from screen to much gets to my eyes. looks like allot of work on this one.

i plan on having both a physical and digital copy of the service manual for it. im currently awaiting a scissor hoist due to the height restriction in my garage for when i pull the engine, and drivetrain so i can start dealing with the malignant cancer(rust) it has

should be able to pull without to much headroom. may have to take hood off to clear. i have seen lots of guys use a cherry picker/engine hoist.
