I have a V8 trailblazer to drive on the bad days, I am a little worried about MPG of the trailblazer since it is looking like there could be a lot of bad days this year. Still waiting on the insurance company. Its been a week and they still have not been out to see the car.

I got the call from the insurance company. $6400 is the value less my $250 deductible.

I drove the car as my primary for over 3 years and I drove it 45,000 miles and got $600 more then I paid for it. Keep in mind that I did put the SS parts on there. Hood, spoiler, sway bar and intake. I guess I can not complain.

I think I am moving forward with the GTO.

Well I still have the 93, I had already decided to get a new steering column for it. Heck the LT1/t56 only has 32k on it and the body is 100% rust free. I just wish the amateur that worked on it never touched the wiring.

I wish I knew if the engine was any good. The Buy back is only $771.77. The LS1 with under 90k on it has got to be worth more then that. The last 45,000 miles where all highway miles on mobil one oil.

Probably worth the gamble, you could part it out and break even I'd bet even if the motor is bad.
If it's good part it out and get an almost free motor.

Just no place to put it and no time to work on the project I already have. So if anyone else want it and live near Allentown PA

I test drove the GTO today, Ran great, cold startup at around 20F degrees and it was quiet. She has a full exhaust, Headers, high flow cats, Magnaflow cat back and the K&N CAI. The only thing wrong with it is the Gas gage is not working and I am not a fan of the hood. It looks nice but it rattles a little the Ram air system will be an issue in the rain.

Bought the GTO I got him down to 9K so it was less then 3k above the insurance payout.

Awesome deal! I kinda like the hood, maybe it'll grow on you. Or keep an eye out for a 2005-up hood
