Sounds really good. You are going to have fun with it. These cars do not like any changes without a new tune. SO, it will all be good

Got the tune in today

Tomorrow I pick up the paint and we start final prep. Once that's done, I'm gonna run it up and down the road to make sure all is good. Get alignment as well. Goal is to have the plates on it by May 23 so I can take it to my nephews birthday. Little guy is turning 1!

We set it per the instructions included with the rockers, but that was with the engine off. Did we miss something?

i have done that so many times and when i reset them on the run there is always one thats off. open headers might make that a little difficult. lol. never done the aluminum ones, you set using the spin push rod

Yeah, once the full exhaust is back on, I might play with them some more. We did it by spinning the pushrod. I'll check them again once there's some mileage on the engine. The most it's seen is going 30 feet out the garage. Once my friend welds the one valve cover so it'll clear the alternator, it'll be set to drive.

Looking good for sure.

I watched the vid and it came to me. I do not know about yours but mine will not idle with the air intake off. It will die out like yours did.

Mine idles fine both with the intake on or off. Only reason I stuck it on was because I was letting it idle for ~10 minutes to make sure nothing leaked, overheated or other wise cause problems while I was driving.

All it needs now is the lights put back on, lower bumper covers on, and the interior back together. Should be good to drive soon
