GM did make a 4.3 L it came in S-10's and some full size pickups (and I'm sure other vehicles) I've heard it is basically a 350 less two cylinders. I had one in a '91 Sonoma mated to a 5 speed, I loved it. I think they were good engines. Havent heard of one in a Camaro, but if you took the time to put one in, why not put in a big block?

this is accurate. Great little motors, with excellent output. I loved the one i had. if you have 93-97 6cyl camaro, I would consider this swap if i blew the motor. I wouldn't do the swap on a 3800 car... the 3800 was a sweet little motor, too. The advantage you have with the 3800 is that it is easy to modify and play with. the 4.3s are not. If you are going to have it out of the car, it makes it a lot easier, but the 3800 would stay in mine...
