i bought a 1996 z28 for 500 dollars and the lt1 in it is trashed and i was wanting to put an ls1 in it but 5.3 ls motors are hella cheap so i was looking to put one of those in instead are there any tips or anything putting it in or upgrading the motor let me know thank you

 

motor mounts different you will need a ls k member. transmission size and bolt pattern are different, you will need a ls transmission, pcm and wiring are different so you will need to figure that out. there is a couple ls swap builds on the site.
