So I'll be taking the plunge and converting this unsuspecting v6 car to Lq4/Ls3 top end power.

I've got a couple reasons why I'm doing this instead of "just buying the v8". The main reason is, all of the local cars are clapped out high mile cars they want 7K+ for. I priced out all of the main components for the swap and I'm nearing 4K give or take some for decently priced stuff. I have some other reasons as well but I'm just basically rolling with what's available in my area. I'll be doing lots of research to finish this swap, using the search button quite a bit, and only posting when I can find what I'm looking for.

there is a thread hear on the 5.3l in the projects section , talked about makeing his own heater hoses an power steering as well ,good luck with it ,would be great if you can get in real depth to help others do the swap,lots of pictures too ,i would say youtube should have some info as well as an lsx forum
