Default 1998 3.8l throttle body change

I know these cars are kinda a joke since the engine was only 200hp stock and that a v8 would have been better but couldn't afford that and wanna do what I can with my 1998 v6 Camaro
I've done some research (countless hours) and found that the throttle body being angled on this particular year of the Camaro prevented alot of upgrades however through further digging I found out that aside from custom fabrication it may still be possible to upgrade it
I was reading in another thread on the forum that the only thing that changed between 1999 and 1998 was the throttle body and intake
Does that mean I could simply swap the two parts with parts from a 1999 or would it be more difficult?

I am not sure but I know we have talked about it before but I think 98 is drive by cable and 99 is drive by wire, meaning no cable.

I have not heard the throttle body angle was a problem, can you link any of the info? CAI, Headers, rocker arm and a mail tune for a daily driver. After that you are talking port and polishing the heads and intake and a CAM to gain more max HP but at the cost low end torque.

changing thottle body isn't going to gain anything. not sure they fit the older intake. agree with gorn and you may want to look at different gears in the rear.
