didn't know it was gonna be in the area. Do you have some sort of schedule or something I can see? I might try to catch it in Detroit (I'm living in Dearborn right now)

They are spending the night here in Muskegon tonight and leaving for Detriot in the morning. I had a great time today. We registered for the car show at noon and the tour cars were starting to roll in right after that. Check HotRods web site. There going to Metro Beach.

change of plans The dealer I ordered the caliper rebuild kits from didn't get them today like they told me they would, so there goes any hope of getting the brake work done this weekend. Looks like it's not happening until July now...

so the parts came in today, and guess what? they weren't what I needed I went to O'Reilly, walked in with the caliper in hand, showed them what I needed, and they ordered it for me right away. I'm an idiot, I should've done that right away.

so after being at work in Arizona for the last week and a half, I went back to the O'Reilly yesterday on my way back to WI to pick up the parts. Apparently, they send the parts back if you don't pick them up within 6 days. So I said fine, I'll order it from an O'Reilly in WI. So I stopped into the nearest location, and it turns out they can't order the parts, they don't stock from the same warehouses. So now I'm up the creek. Again.
Also on my way back to WI from Dearborn yesterday, I got caught in 2 hours of stop-and-go traffic. After I finally got out of it, my car decided it no longer wanted to downshift on moderate tip-in. For the rest of the ride, it took a LOT more throttle input to actually trigger a downshift than it did before. It also usually used to downshift when I was accelerating with cruise control, but after I got through Chicago it didn't do that anymore. This transmission just got rebuilt last summer. Any idea what the heck is going on?

when getting something out of the back of my car yesterday, I shut the hatch and noticed my exhaust tip was bouncing up and down. Looked under the car, and one of the exhaust hangers is completely broken. Just one more thing to fix...
