Default Seat too low in a 98 Z28

Does anyone have a suggestion for getting the drivers seat up a little. My car has the basic seat, and it's just a little too low for driving comfort. I imagine it's a combination of me being a little on the short side of normal, and the fact that the guy I bought the car from was pretty big, and the seat is a little broken down. it's not so worn that I need to replace it.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for the suggestion. I was hoping for something my buddies would grief me over, but I think I'll give it a shot.

In my 96 I have to tilt the seat way back so my head does not hit the T-top glass.

The washer thing should be good but I would not do more then a 1/2". You need more then that you will have to make brackets. Something like a Square steel channel drill a hole all the way thru then bolt the channel to the floor then bolt the chair to the channel using a nut and bolt.

Or I can let you have my sons booster seat once he turn three. You could just throw it in the back and tell your buds it for a nephew or something.
