Default HVAC zone controls not working?

So I thought that having my AC system removed would cause it to not work, but I put all the parts back in today minus the condenser and they still aren't working. It is stuck on floor and windshield option. Does anyone know how to solve this? They worked before I swapped in my new engine, does the AC have to be charged? Thanks.

The only one I undid was the line from the intake mani, although i did use that line as a source for vacuum for my nitrous. But I do not recall it working before the nitrous.
