So the glove box latch on my '94 Z28 has worked ok, when you open it you would have to apply pressure with your thumb and then pull with your index finger. It was not a big deal but someone got in the car and was impatient with it and over extended the latch so it would then not close. They fixed it by taking the pin out and resetting the latch but now it will not catch and close. The mechanics of it seem ok but it is definately not working like it was. I've tried taking both pieces off, aligning them, and most of the time it does not catch and stay closed.
Is this something a new latch would fix?
Any info is appreciated, this is just so annyoing, as of now I have it jammed closed....
