Default Finally Finished my Intertior LED Lighting

Hey everybody,

Over the past couple of weeks I have converted all of the lighting in my 2000 Z28 to Blue LED's from the gauges, door switched rear dome, Map Lights, Shifter Gear Lighting, glove box & today wired up under dash & under rear seat LED Strips with On/Off toggles Switches mounted ingognito.. I used inline fuse housings & routed the wiring very well hidden.. I also have switched headlights (high/low beam, fog lights, marker lights & rear license plates & back up lights to blue/hyper white. Looks really good. All I have left to do sometime later this week when I get back fro a business trip. I will post pics when done when it is dark outside.

This was a fun little modification & relatively inexpensive & looks very clean. All I need it some diamond plate floor mats & my leather console/dash/door insert mod & my interior is complete.

Sweet, I can't wait to see some pics. I was thinking about adding pink LED strips in the interior (under seats and in the front somewhere maybe), but I'm a little iffy about the wiring. Was is difficult to wire all of those interior add-ons?

Ya, lets see some pictures.

I just finished the LED swap in my Factory Monsoon Head Unit. They were supposed to be Blue, but were actually green. So I'll be doing it again.

Where are you buying your LED strips? I've been looking for LED strips to make custom lighting for my tailights, but haven't found a place to buy them yet.

Thanks! I hate Fleabay usually, but looks like it's the place for LED lamps. I want to convert my tail lights on my '71 to LED and have both lights work as brake and turn signal.

I'm still away on business but I will get some pics posted when I get home later this week. I mounted the LED toggle switches in the ashtray where you cannot see them & it turned out great. I used high quality wiring & soldered & heat shrinked all wire connections. It looks great. Promise some pics when I get home. Ebay has some good single LED Kits for door switches/gauge clusters/HVAC dials & trans gear panel. I do not remember the sources I ordered the dome lights front & reart but I can check my invoices & let you all know. Also did a few other mods I will list out in a seperate thread.
