Default Doors Lock Problem

Hi to all!
When I push the switch to open the doors it works good and when I push the switch to close the doors it can works or can not works.
Usually the switch works 1 time and 20 times don't works.
It is the same for the driver side switch and the passenger side switch so I think it is not a switch problem!
Where is the problem?

many thanks!

Actually, it probably is a switch problem because of the way the switches interconnect. If you have the "keyless entry" option (AU0), the driver side switch is the likely problem, because all sections of that switch must be fully ok for both switches to work. If you don't have keyless entry, either switch can cause this problem.

The same actuators are used to unlock and lock the doors. The switches just reverse the polarity of the voltage for the other operation.

Do you think I've to try to change the switch and then see what happens?
But I'have the same problem in both the switches.
When I try to lock the doors and I push the switch I hear the sound from the passenger feet but the reading light inside the car don't go down and the doors don't close.
Same story if I do this operation from the pass switch.
If I do this operation many times is possible that it close the doors one time.

I don' think the problem is the switch because both have the same behaviour.

bypass the switch with a jumper wire and see if it still does it.

Ok, i try it.
But I still think it's strange that the problem appears on both the switch.
If i see the problem only for driver or pass side it's different.
I hear the noise on the cpu but the actuators don't close the doors.

Now that we know the car is a 99... we can say that the most likely culprit is the BCM. That kind of information would be useful up front... or in your signature!

Do you think the problem is the BCM?
