alright i found out what the part i need is called for sure.. thanks to nosc.. thanks man.. this is what it looks like (http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/ca...plication.aspx) if anyone knows of a cheaper one by chance hit me up.. thanks Twill21

This is what I got for my 97 off of ebay. It was easy to install and looks pretty good.

Wow that one is expensive. Now I don't know if your trying to restore yours back to factory or not but if you just wanting to make her look good again then you should go with the one I've posted it took like 30 minutes to put it in and it looks great.

oh dang.. thanks man i'm probably going to order that part.. saves me nearly $150 thanks.

You may have found one but e-bay has the dash that you say is cracked they run upwards of $200 the ones you see for less ate glue on caps be cateful of that. Now if yours is intact enough to use cap then go that route but mine was cracked a little and as i tried to remove it to glue cap on it just broke every time i touched it so i would reccomend buying the oem replacement like i said they run like $200-275 on ebay

DSteinyZ28 has a nice dash pad out of a 97 for sale. Look him up.

Im pretty sure you can buy the dash pads online for those years and +1 for the dye paint at the local parts store. Works great!
