Brights lever doesn't work :(
My brights are stuck on. The blinkers work fine it's just when I try to move the lever toward me it doesn't click and if I move it away from me nothing happens. Do I have to replace the lever or the switch in the steering colum ???

There is a rod connecting the lever to the switch. See if the rod moves when you operate the lever.

try tilting the steering wheel up and try it. then try it tilting down. is the cover missing from the backside of the blinker switch base.

Sounds like to me that the dimmer switch is either defective or has come loose. Either way, you have to get access to it.

try getting plyers on the shaft and see if you can help it dim the lights. either the lever mount is moving to much or switch is shot. here is some info on the coluum. https://camaroforums.com/forum/93-02...mn-info-64804/ be better to download the factory service/shop manual here https://www.mediafire.com/?40mfgeoe4ctti

$2 at Rock Auto, just re-route to a floor switch and call it done |
