Default Ants, ants, ANTS!

So I've been having an issue with ants getting into my 1994 camaro. I believe its due to the tall grass in my area.

My question is, will they hurt anything in my car? Is it safe to bug bomb them without hurting any electrical components?

I would hate to have to tear my dash apart due to these lil critters.

What would be the safest way to remove them? I can't leave an open can of pepsi in my center console for 3 minutes without attracting a swarm! Lol.

Let's see... Aardvarks, woodpecker, most lizards, jumping spiders, they all eat ants, so keep them around or bring them into your yard. Don't lock them in the as then they will poop in there. Also, you could start wearing pointy shoes and dance the tarantella. Seriously, there is nothing in the car that will be damaged by bug killer, but it could cause stains if spray too much in one spot. Just don't overdo it. Best bet would be a fumigating bomb, available at most hardware stores. It is just poison gas, and won't stain the interior, just make sure you don't stay inside the car to watch the bugs die.

Awesome, thanks.

I'm the kind of guy who can't stand a dirty engine, much less bugs on the inside. Lol.

By bug bomb, I meant a fumigating poison.

Ill be sure not to lock myself in.

Thanks again!

im gona guess that you have some spilled sweets in there somewhere. may be spilled soda in the carpet pad. they most likely have a nest in the car.

Are you parking the car in the tall grass? If so, rusty floor boards and frame will be next.
Then the squirrels and raccoons will be able to hang out in your Camaro fort too!

Talking Ant control

Hi,try "u pest control" on the web, or go to EBAY and get a gallon (last you a loooong time) of sniper or Bifen- spray around car, kilss termites, ants, just about everything. I spraymy home foundation with the stuff 3 times a year-keeps those big destructive carpenter ants at bay.

Talking

Thanks for all the advice!

My Camaro is lowered 2 1/2 and in tall grass, waaay down the end of my driveway.

Reason being, if I park to close to the house, stray cats come out of the neighbors yard and sleep on the warm hood, scratching my paint. Argh, I can't hunt allll of them. Lol.

Ill try the dryer sheet methed, I'm willing to try a few crazy idears.

I deliver pizzas part time, I can't have ants in customers food, ya feel me?!

Thanks again guys.
