Default Airbag replacement in 2001 base model.

Hello everyone, not sure if this is the right place for this thread, so my apologies if it's not!

Anyway! I recently had a wreck that set off both of my airbags in my 4th gen. I have bought a new drivers side airbag, a new dash with the passenger side airbag and an airbag control module that goes under the center console. I have the new dash in place and am about to put the drivers side bag in as well as the new module. My question is, is there any other part that I am missing that is related to the airbags that I need? I don't want to hook up my airbags and have them set off again or something. I've heard there's a sensor somewhere in the front of the car. Anyway, if anyone could help me out I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

yes i believe there is a sensor up front. i would recomend you download the factory service manual here, use the 2000 svc file https://www.mediafire.com/?40mfgeoe4ctti

Why connect the airbag? Only thing an airbag ever did for me was sprain both wrists, never touched anything else.

Well you sure are responding quite late. Haha.
And oh and why would I connect the air bag? Oh I don't know... Maybe so that it could possibly save my freaking life? Ehh probably best to leave it disconnected though, sounds like a much smarter move, thanks!
