It kinda looks like what they are calling "front cover number 1 bow retainer".



I am willing to bet this is a long-discontinued part.

In your picture it really doesn't look all that bad. Just beatup paint and surface rust.

Honestly, I would take that off, wirebrush it, and paint it. Or have it painted.

Thanks for da photo, yes it’s discontinued, on the attached photo i sent on the left corner (pasenger side) not shown it’s all deteriorated. That’s my 2nd option, wire brush and repaint the plate. Is just going to look funny coz the corner is deteriorated, but again it’s inside and will not be noticeable. Was just trying to see if going to get lucky and find the plate.

I think you need to look for a junkyard or someone with a parts collection.

I don't know where you are, but in my area there is a guy who sometimes posts on FB Marketplace with a top of Camaro parts.

Can you take a picture of the bad area?

thanks for the photo you sent... very useful was able to find the part on Ebay... I did looked in FB but somehow seems like I'm the only person here that own this kine of car here in HI... lol.
