Default 95 Z28 Upper Dash Panel

Recently bought a 95 Z28 in great condition, but -and I'm sure you're all familiar with this- the dash is cracked. Its the upper cover, part number 10267171, and the cracks are bad (panel is very brittle). Not sure I can fix it being as weak as it is, so I'm looking at replacing it. I'm finding them listed online for $250+ which is way more than I thought they ran for. If anyone has any advice as to how to repair or replace it for a bit cheaper, it would be very much appreciated.

Keep an eye for someone parting a car locally, remember that the dash pad changed in 97

Good luck finding them, interior replacement parts are getting hard to find. I am on my 4 dash panel and i bought my camaro in 94 new. I see online, some manufacturers are starting to make reproduction parts but are charging an arm and a leg for them. I have been searching for a manual driver side view mirror trim panel for a couple months now with 0 results.
