true, SC's dont spool. they produce full power at low rpm. but there are many turbo v8 applications that I would love to have

[quote= After long tubes, CAI, airfoil, cat delete, 1.6 rr's and a 93 octane tune by Solomon, it ate up the stock rebuild. I then did a more solid rebuild.[/quote]

Where are some good places to get these parts from?

Now before you do any valve train work you need to figure out what your going to do. There's different setups for turbo nod superchargers. Also lag has to do alot with your turbo size. A smaller turbo spoils up faster then a large turbo. A smaller turbo will pump out less boost the a larger turbo. 6lbs of boost from a small turbo will have less power then 6lbs from a larger turbo. A supercharger will also have less power unless it's a twin screw style. Power is decided by the volume of air being forced into the engine. There's so many variables that change alot of things. I'd recommend doing alot of research before you do forced induction.

As for engine rebuild get a stronger crank, piston rods, forged pistons, larger oil pump and new oil screen. Then once you've decided on what style of forced induction your going with get the cam for the style and all other valve train parts needed for it.

Your drive train should handle most of the power you go with. You might need a new rear diff when that blows but they can handle alot of power. Your going to need new rear suspension parts. Springs and shock are fine just the torque arms and that other jazz. Your going to want subframe conectors new engine mounts, tranny mounts. And bigger rear tires. All that will get you started for a max of 15lbs of boost. The stock suspension is fine but it won't last that long.

wow thanks haha but most likely with all this talk about having to rebuild most of my car just for turbo im probably just going to upgrade parts to get it a little faster instead of turbo or SC

The thing biggest thing about turboing or a sc is the cam. Turbo increases exhaust time and sc increases intake. Other then that your just building the engine to handle the amount of torque and hp it will produce.

I can never have enough hp. One day I plan on having over 1000 hp but that's maybe in 30 years. 1000 torque will be when I get a duramax in the next few years. I'm a power junky tho. It's really all about how much money you are willing to spend and how much the wife will allow you to spend.
