i was almost in a accident today with my dad's hemi ram. was at a red light making a left, and let off the brake, gave it a lil gas, going like 5miles an hour, back end started slippin, and i could feel it pulsate, and so i let off gas and hit brake, and the truck did a 270 on me... bout 6inches away from one car, and then 2feet away from oncoming traffic... didnt hit anything, this was after coming out of a car wash and it just started raing, so tires where slick and then roads were slick at same time =(

I would check out progressive, they dont ask what size engine is in the car, all they ask for is year, make and model. I go through them and I pay only like 50-60 a month, but thats just liability. And thats on a 94 Camaro and Im 21. (Now Ill also mention that I dont have the best driving record...I have 2 speeding tickets and operating with a suspended license, but that was like 3-4 years ago). Now if your going to take out a loan for the car, then your going to have to have full coverage. But what will determine the price, is the year of the vehicle. So ya give progressive a look because they are the cheapest Ive found in my area.

I have a 2000 V6 and I pay like $240 a month. I asked what i would be for a Z28 and they ran it and told me $360. Just get a Z28 or SS. Swap cost too much.

A swap may be expensive, but its cheaper in the long run. Because an insurance company wont ask whats under the hood, only the VIN. So the VIN would say its a V6 so you would be quoted at a V6, but your running a SS or Z28.

When I bought my car, it was my first, I paid $1600 a year. Now 4 years later I pay $200 a year.Of course I'm 25 and married now (that helps greatly). Of course being a dude is going to kill you insurance wise.

If anyone is military and is not using USAA, they need to get hot on it.
3800II MD min liability is 33/mo, but I am 51 with no moving violations in 5 yrs...
Turning 25 is huge for males.
I love my V6 also!
