hi, im stumped I have no clue what is wrong, I replaced the clutch on my 96 z28 and the after putting it all back together the stick shift is moved to the left slightly. the issue is that now it won't down shift at high revs into second, upshifting and all the rest of the down shifting works great, any thoughts would be very helpful.

Are you sure you don't have a broken motor mount or something?

 

it is possible, could it be that we broke it while we were working on it? Also how would we go about knowing that is the problem?
