Default Wiring a fan switch

So i am pretty sure i have this switch wired wrong. I have 1 wire from the fan to my acc fan switch, 1 wire from my fan switch to a ground and 1 wire from my fan switch power to the 12v junction block... i keep on blowing the inline fuse that i installed on the power, what am i missing?

You have ground and power switched together when switch is turned ON.
Circuit path should be:
12v source to fuse to SPST switch to fan to ground.
Read fan specifications as initial turn-on power, in-rush, is usually 20-30 amps, so a slo-blow fuse may be required, or use a circuit breaker.

Switch can be a DPST = double pole, single throw, OFF-ON
SPST = single pole, single throw, OFF-ON
Use a toggle switch, not a rocker because of power consumed.
Better control would be wiring in a relay to control fan power.
Circuit would be: 12V to fuse to switch to relay coil to ground.
Relay contacts would be wired: battery power to relay contact to fan to ground.
Now relay handles the current demand.
