Hello everyone. I would like to do some history on my 1994 Z convertible. Anyone have any info on obtaining a copy of the original window sticker that would show the dealer that it was delivered to ? Of course I have the VIN, but no info on where the car came from. Also it was ordered with the 235 tires which to my chagrin also has a 115 speedo and speed limiter (my heart sank when I saw that a week after I bought the car. Would like to make it a real Z-28 by putting in a 150 speedo and removing the limiter, but not sure how much trouble and expense that would be ). Any idea's ?
If your car was purchased in Canada, GM Historical Services can provide you with all the options the car came with along with the original dealer, build date and a bunch of other cool info for a modest fee.
A reproduction Window Sticker can be from purchased from this website. As noted on the page, an invoice for the car is required to make it and a GM Archive link is provided where it can be purchased. If all you're wanting is the selling dealer, the invoice will give this information. As for the 235 tires and 115 speedometer, those were standard equipment on the 1994 Z28 Camaro Coupe shown in the pictures below from the Camaro Order Guide.
