window question

Default window question

how do i fix this my window on my new car wouldnt go down or up right and it slide back and forth so i took apart the door this what i found

What exactly are we looking at? It is definitely buggered up, whatever it is.

Do the motors work at all?

take a step back and click another picture, lol. need to have a little better perspective.

Ooh, I like these "what is this" close-up picture games!
I believe what we're looking at is the bracket that's mounted to the bottom of the window. That egged out & snapped off hole used to hold a stud with a plastic track roller on it. Without the roller, the window will flop around like a fish. Do you have, or know anybody with a welder? You could weld a washer to the bracket and give yourself a new piece of metal to mount to.

Yep, looks just like what Camaro69 said it was. That guy is amazing. Probably does jigsaw puzzles blindfolded.

Anyway, as he stated, you can weld a washer on there.

This is strange though. I thought I saw something a little weird in one of the pictures. After running the image through some hi-tech image enhancing software, what do my eyes behold. Look in the lower right corner.....creepy eh?
